How many Eric Lamberts can there be. By any chance, Eric Lambert, bro of Amy. The bio says you started playing at 13 and my Eric was much younger when he played bass with Amy and I played piano for her back in Albemarle, N.C. I taught Mom Vicki Lambert piano when she was 12 and I was 18! I'm 71, live in Cordele Ga, still playing gospel . Still church pianist at a small church where we do Southern Gospel even on Sunday morning!! Still teaching. Are you my Eric?

October 5, 2008

Hi Eric
Love the photos and the music. We missed you at the bluegrass festival(lARRYFEST)in Wisconsin but you are somewhere across the Atlantic ocean traveling around the world. It's about time everyone else found out about you...you are the best flatpicker on the planet! We miss you in Wisconsin...come see us again soon!

Jeff Burks

August 21, 2008

I used to see you play at Shannons Landing when you and Joe did shows. I was with Tom Vaughn, Johhny Ho, OZ and the bunch. Saw you as the Laughing Gnomes in Indy at the IMA when I was at Butler. I was telling a buddy in AZ about my biggest influence in music and it was you and Joe and those Shannons shows that got me playing years ago. Wanted to look you up and say hello and glad things are going so well for you. Because of seeing those shows, I play four nights a week, two nights as a two man acoustic like I remember and two with my full band! So I guess, Thanks!

Eric,
On behalf of the Thursday night Finnegan's crowd...
We thought you'd never leave.
It's a relief to know that we no longer have to endure sub-par guitar playing,
your lack of enthusiasm and musical knowledge, poor and limited taste in musical genres, and general disregard for fellow musicians as well as everyone's enjoyment and friendship.
Thanks for nothing!! (Wink, wink)
Good luck, we'll all miss you.
See you at the coffee shops and fairs!

June 12, 2007

I can't thank you enough for adding some more happiness to my life through your talents as both musical artist and technician. "Doin' Alright" is a great example of what happens when one puts their heart and soul into their music. The sound of a well played guitar has always grabbed my soul. Combine that with well written lyrics and your music has become part of the music I use to get me through to where I need to be. You've reminded me again that, with music, life is oh so good! Congratulations, my friend.

Eric,
Thanks for letting me review your CD. It is quite good. Sorry it took so long, but that's just me! BTW, Let me know how much the CD is!

AndyM
Review follows:

Doin' Alright by Eric Lambert. What a great album. My 1st time listening was as background music while I was working around the house. I was thinking, this requires more attention… it is quite good.. Certainly, the whole album is great, 11 of 12 tracks written by Eric, mostly instrumentals (10 of 12). Green (trk 1) is a rollicking instrumental. Keeps you moving without the caffeine feeling afterwards. Doin Alright (trk 2) is an easy feel good vocal that says despite the problems we encounter, “Hey, things are all right.” Scott’s Rag (Trk 3) is a nice bluegrassy track. More Pretty In E (trk 6) is an easy bluesy track that makes you feel good. Cumberland Blues (trk 11) is a nice vocal with great instrumental breaks and backup. Pretty (trk 12) is quite mello and finishes off the album in an easy feel good fashion of the whole album. Great Job Eric. I look forward to you next one!

Amazing, enchanting music. Doin' Alright is a masterpiece, Eric Lambert. Ten of twelve pieces are instrumental -- and I loved it! And that's coming from a wordsmith.

I currently live in Waco, TX and retired from the Navy in 1996. My mom came down and said that she had seen adds in the Indiana papers about you playing at different venues in the area. I figured I would try and look you up on the internet. I had heaerd years ago that you ahd played with a band called Cracker, but that was may shots of bourbon ago. I may be pecking this message with both fingers here to the wrong fella. But from the scant bio, I think your the same Eric Lambert from the neighborhood and Clay school. You turned me on to Strawberry alarm clock back in the day and I thought about back then when I heard Incense and Peppermint on the radio. If this ain't the same dude then take it easy. I enjoyed the wave file here on your site and will be looking your music up on the web!! My son was down in Austin for a few years and we would always check out the new artists down on 6th street, he has the same love for music that I have always had since I was a kid buying albums from Joe discount. Hi Eric - the new website is awesome! Just checking in on you - looks like you've got a lot of stuff going. Yay! I gave a guitarist/songwriter your name - Phil Golyshko - he's moving to IN and I told him you're fabulous and you may have some where-to-perform-in-the-area tips.

Hope you and yours are doing well and that you're enjoying the spring!

I concur with Tina. Very nice performance at Taltree last week. My editor agreed with the suggestion to have my article printed in all three June 22 editions of the Chronicle...Portage, Valpo & Hobart. Hopefully that will give you some more exposure and get the word (and tunes) out for more area residents to enjoy your brand of entertainment. Keep up the great work, guys!

Hello Guys,

Just a quick note to say thank you for your performance at the Strawberry Madness event in Hobart this past weekend. I was a writer for the Hobart Chronicle paper that spoke with you briefly. I have enjoyed the music on the CD you kindly gave to me.
I am an independent writer for the Chronicle and, at times, get articles printed that I create as opposed to being assigned a story.
I did make mention of you in the article coming out this Wednesday regarding the Madness event. However, I find your music and personalities worthy of a more detailed article.
I have checked your up-coming schedule and hope to meet up with you folks again at one of them.
Thank you again and I will be in touch.

Respectfully,
